For example, I decided to take a short YouTube break from my homework last Saturday. I watched the latest video from Charlie McDonnell and figured out the first thing that I am putting on my Christmas Wish List: Charlie’s first album.
Well, technically it isn’t the first album that he’s ever been involved in, but it is his first solo album! I was so excited to hear that he was finally making his music available for purchase because I tried to by his music last year and couldn’t find them, which made me really upset.
I could just go and buy the music off of iTunes right now, but instead I am going to pre-order a CD from his website. “Why?” you ask? Well, I could explain everything to you, but instead I will just direct you to Charlie’s blog and you can find out for yourself. (For those too lazy to click on a link and read another blog post, it’s basically because it looks super cool, it’s his very first solo album and where the song lyrics are supposed to be on the inside pamphlet he just wrote about himself.)
As a bonus to the wonderful CD, I really want to order the Cloning Charlie and This is Me Bundle because then not only do I get the fabulous CD, but I also get the Cloning Charlie shirt, which is a reference to one of Charlie’s other YouTube videos.
I probably seem like such a totally fan-girl/nerd for all this, but I don’t really care. I will wear the Cloning Charlie shirt proudly, assuming that dear Saint Nicholas is kind enough to pre-order me the bundle. ☺
My goodness… this post is unusually short. I apologize. I suppose I just have less to say when I force myself to be relatively optimistic. Huh. That really says a lot about my personality. Anyway, you should all go and pre-order Charlie’s CD, or at least buy the songs on iTunes, or, at the very least, go and watch his videos so that you can hear the songs-- they're amazing.
It's hard to beat an adorable British guy singing and playing the ukulele.
